Senior Vice President,
Development and University Campaigns

Roger Neuhaus is Senior Vice President of Development and University Campaigns. His responsibilities include major gift prospecting and campaign planning and management.

His office works in collaboration with all University of Arizona colleges and units under three primary areas: University Programs Development, Arizona Health Sciences Development and Regional Development.

Neuhaus has 22 years of fundraising experience in both higher education and not-for-profit healthcare systems.

Prior to joining the UA Foundation, Neuhaus was vice president of development and community relations for Verde Valley Medical Center, part of the Northern Arizona Healthcare System.

From 2001 to 2004, he served as associate vice chancellor for institutional advancement at Southern Illinois University and executive director of development for the SIU Foundation. Previous experience includes development and public outreach for the Iowa Healthcare System.

Neuhaus holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa and a master’s degree in higher education administration from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.

He is a past board member of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northern Arizona, an organization he has volunteered with for 12 years in three different communities. Other community service includes serving as a board member for the Grand Theater Company in Iowa and Special Olympics of Arizona.
